Vergangenes Wochenende traf ich mich mit Felle und seinem holländischen Arbeitskollegen, Marian, in Brisbane um in den voll gepackten japanischen Yoghurtbecher zu sitzen und um die Fahrt Richtung Coffs Harbour aufzunehmen. Kev und ich nahmen nach der Vorlesung den Zug bis nach Brisbane für schlappe 4 €.
Die Fahrt: 360km, ein Stau, ein Ticket der Police (130km/h statt 100 = $ 230) und ein Kasten „Extra Dry“ und schon waren wir in Coffs Harbour. Leider war unser Hostel inmitten eines Clubs…..und somit hatten wir keine Chance diesem auszuweichen. Ganz nach dem Motto: „Wir tanzen auch zu schlechter Musik“ (u.a. SCOOTER) gings nach Hallenschließung in die Hostelküche. Zum Glück war der Kühlschrank voll mit Leckereien...
Immer noch satt aber mit nem kleinen Kater schauten wir uns erstmal den Hafen an, bevor wir dann gen Armidale aufbrachen.
National Parks und ganz viel Wasserfälle standen auf dem Samstags- und Sonntagsprogramm. Sehr schön….aber ich bin trotzdem froh, an der Küste zu leben. Sobald man ein wenig ins landesinnere fährt, verlässt einen die Zivilisation und es ist bitter kalt! Eindrücke...
